Baby shower gift bingo cards
Gift bingo gives guests a reason to watch the present opening. Each card is filled with things a new baby is likely to receive; when the parents-to-be unwrap one of them, everyone who has that square covers it. Nobody has to call anything.

How to host baby shower gift bingo
- Hand out the cards and pens just before the first present is opened. Twenty guests need ten sheets at two cards each; the extra last page lists every gift once and helps the host confirm a win.
- Decide how to treat near matches before you start. A common house rule: clothing counts for the closest clothing square, and a present with several items lets each guest mark one square of their choice from it.
- Pens or pencils are better than counters here, because guests are balancing plates and cups on their laps. Golf pencils or a jar of crayons on the gift table is enough.
- With a small pile of presents a five by five card may never fill a line. Count the gifts: under fifteen, choose three by three; fifteen to thirty, four by four; more than that, keep the large grid.
- Ask a friend, not the guest of honour, to keep the checklist and judge wins. Prizes such as a candle, a small plant or a bar of chocolate suit any guest who wins.

Questions
How do you play baby shower gift bingo?
Every guest gets a card of likely gifts. As each present is unwrapped, anyone with that item on their card marks it. The first to complete a row, column or diagonal calls bingo and wins a small prize, and the opening carries on.
Should I fill in the squares myself or let guests do it?
Both versions are played. This page prints the squares already filled so the game can start straight away. Pre-filled cards also guarantee that no two guests hold the same arrangement, which hand-written grids cannot promise.
What if a gift is not on anyone's card?
Nothing is marked and the next present is opened. To reduce misses, edit the list to match the registry or the kind of gifts your circle tends to give before you print.
How many winners should there be?
Two or three is usual: first line, second line and, if the pile of presents is large, a full card. Have that many prizes wrapped and tell guests at the start so they keep playing after the first bingo.
