Make your own bingo cards
Type a list, get a set of bingo cards. The box starts with thirty ordinary words only so that you can see how the cards look; clear it and enter your own vocabulary, names, song titles, team jargon or anything else that fits on a line. The cards and the call sheet are rebuilt as you type.

The preview is scaled to fit your screen and prints at full size, one sheet of paper per page of cards. In the print dialog choose your printer or Save as PDF, and set scale to 100%. Nothing you type leaves this browser.
How to build a good custom set
- Write the list somewhere else first, in a document or a spreadsheet column, then paste it in. Each line break starts a new square, blank lines are ignored, and lines longer than 20 characters are cut, so shorten long phrases yourself.
- Aim for a list about one and a half times the number of squares: fifteen or more lines for three by three, twenty-five for four by four, forty for five by five. Too short a list makes every card nearly the same.
- Keep entries short enough to read from arm's length. Two words per square is comfortable; for longer items such as quiz answers, print one big card per page.
- The shuffle code decides the arrangement. Note it down with your list: the same list and code produce the same cards on any computer, which lets you reprint a lost card or print the second half of a set later.
- Ideas that work well: vocabulary in a language you are teaching, chemical symbols, family sayings for a reunion, things a presenter always says, or the names of everyone in the room at a leaving party.
The starter list
Thirty placeholder words with no theme, there to be replaced. With the free space on, a five by five card uses 24 lines, so thirty is close to the minimum for that grid; forty or more gives cards that differ more from each other.

Questions
How do I make my own bingo cards?
Delete the starter words, type or paste your list with one entry per line, give the cards a title and choose the grid. The preview updates at once. Print from the browser, or choose Save as PDF in the print dialog to keep a file.
How many words do I need for custom bingo?
At least as many as one card has squares: 8 for three by three with a free space, 16 for four by four, 24 for five by five with a free space. More is better, up to the limit of sixty lines.
Can I use numbers, names or another language?
Yes. A line can hold any text your keyboard produces, including accented letters and non-Latin scripts, up to 20 characters. Numbers work the same way as words.
Is my list sent anywhere?
No. The cards are drawn by your browser on your own device. The list is remembered in that browser so it is still there when you return, and a share link carries it inside the link itself.
