Fall bingo cards for autumn days
Leaves, orchards and woodland animals: an autumn word set for September through November. It works at a harvest festival stall, in a care home activity hour, at a scout meeting or as a quiet classroom game once the weather turns.

Getting the most from the autumn set
- Take the cards outside. On a nature walk, players cross off an acorn, a red leaf or a squirrel when they really see one, and the call sheet stays at home. Clipboards and pencils replace counters.
- At a harvest fair or school fete, run a round every fifteen minutes at one table. Twenty cards cover a full table, and laminated copies wipe clean between groups.
- Older adults often enjoy this set because every word is familiar and nothing needs explaining. Print one big card per page for larger lettering and call each word clearly, twice.
- Real markers are lying on the ground in this season: acorns, buckeyes or small pebbles collected on the way in. Dried leaves are too light and blow off the card.
- Small seasonal prizes suit the theme, such as an apple, a mini pumpkin or first turn at the leaf pile. Play one line, then two lines, then a full card to give three winners from the same set.

Questions
Is fall bingo the same as autumn bingo?
Yes, it is one season with two names. The card title is an option, so change Fall bingo to Autumn bingo before printing and every card carries the wording your players use.
Does this set include Halloween or Thanksgiving words?
No. It keeps to nature, weather, clothing and farm words so it can be used at any point in the season. Each of those holidays has its own page with its own list.
Can I play fall bingo outdoors as a scavenger hunt?
You can. Switch off the call sheet, give each walker a card and a pencil, and agree that a square counts only when the thing is actually spotted. Remove indoor words like soup first.
How do I make the print larger for older players?
Choose one big card on each page. The squares and lettering grow to fill the sheet, which helps players with weaker eyesight, and the four by four grid makes each square larger still.
